Infertility means that a couple can not become pregnant after having regular, unprotected sex for 1 year. Infertility is affecting men and women alike. If a woman has tried to get pregnant for 1 year and hasn't used birth control, she is considered infertile. If a man has too few sperms or his sperm is too unhealthy to combine with a woman's egg, he is considered infertile. Many couples aren't having trouble getting pregnant. But for some, there are factors that can make this difficult.
